Euchle

Privacy Policy

Effective October 15, 2026

Euchle is a daily Euchre game at euchle.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what the game needs, we don't sell or share your data for advertising, and you can delete your account at any time.

What we collect

How we use it

To run your account and sign you in, deal and score games, show your results, stats and leaderboards, connect you with friends, keep the game fair (for example, detecting duplicate or automated play), and understand how Euchle is used so we can improve it. We don't use your data for advertising and we don't sell it.

What other people can see

Your display name, username and scores appear to friends you've added and on challenge leaderboards. Anyone with your invite link can see your display name. When you share a result, the link shows only that challenge's score, percentile and per-hand squares; it never shows your name, cards or decisions.

Cookies

We use only cookies the game needs: a session cookie that keeps you signed in (renewed as you play: 30 days after your last visit, or about a year for guests), a marker that it was renewed today, a cookie remembering that you've seen the intro, a time-zone cookie, and short-lived cookies that secure Google sign-in. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Service providers

We rely on a few providers to run Euchle, who process data only on our behalf: Vercel (hosting, analytics), Neon (database), Google (sign-in, if you use it) and Cloudflare (DNS and email forwarding). Data may be processed in the United States.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account from Profile → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent: your account, games, results, stats and friendships are removed and your scores disappear from leaderboards. Routine backups held by our database provider expire on their own schedule. You can also email us to access, correct or delete your data.

Security

Connections use HTTPS, session tokens are stored only as hashes, and passwords are hashed with scrypt. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

Euchle isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above, and for significant changes we'll let you know in the app.
